MS got a shot in the arm

While teaching in Paris, Professor Ngô Bảo Châu—Professor of Mathematics at the  University of Chicago, a close friend of the author of MS [1]—helped spread the word about this new book [1] to the community through a post (written in Vietnamese) on his Facebook page.

The introduction was written in slightly humorous language:

“Heard a rumor that shows a retreat in a chaotic society”.

More than 360,000 people have followed his Facebook page.

Prof. Châu was the first Vietnamese to receive the highest honor in mathematical research in the world, the Fields Medal, in 2010 [2].
